Seattle has so much to offer - from stunning nature to amazing museums and parks, there is absolutely no shortage of things to do. But with so much going on in Seattle and the ever-growing number of visitors, it's hard to stay on top of all the fun. Here are some activities that are sure to make your trip fun!

Tip: If you are feeling a little overwhelmed by all the hotel options available, then we would recommend you to opt for Seattle Marriott waterfront, it is close to the top attractions of the city, offering all the services and facilities needed for a stay filled with fun and relaxation!

Market in Pike Place

Pike Place Market is a popular location that everyone has heard of while thinking about Seattle. It is situated right along the edge of Elliot Bay close to downtown Seattle. People seem to be familiar with the location, even if they are unsure of its location. If you want to learn a little about the city's past, it could be among the greatest things to do in Seattle. Pike Place Market, which has been open continuously since 1907, is mostly a market for fresh food. Yes, it can become quite hectic and congested, but once you're in Seattle, it's worth a quick look!

Infinite Space

Even though it resembles a massive, permanent UFO, the Space Needle is one of the most recognizable buildings in the Pacific Northwest. Additionally, it must be on the top of your list of the finest things to do in Seattle because it is such an iconic feature of the Seattle skyline.

Once inside, visitors may take in some breathtaking views of the whole city and even a portion of Washington State from the Space Needle. Without getting into a lengthy history lesson, the Space Needle was constructed in 1962 and is 605 feet (184 m) tall. Visit this place for eye-pleasing views and even stop by the Sky City Restaurant for a meal!

Chihuly Glass and Garden

One of the most intriguing art shows in the United States is located close to the Space Needle. The Chihuly Garden and Glass display as a whole are just magnificent. A master of exquisite glass, Dale Chihuly produces magnificent sculptures and patterns from blown glass. Visitors to the exhibition may view Chihuly's creations in the Glasshouse and the Garden at the Seattle Centre. It would be difficult not to fall in love with the artwork on the show with its vibrant colors and intriguing shapes, many of which are made of glass.

Ocean Science Center

The natural history museum now features many interactive exhibits that make science interesting for everyone, and it's a fantastic small place to escape Seattle's occasionally unexpected weather. It was formally recognized as a City of Seattle Landmark in 2010, making it one of the top tourist attractions in Seattle.

Sculpture Park at Olympic

The Olympic Sculpture Park is a public waterfront park featuring world-class sculptures that are connected to the Seattle Art Museum. Enjoy the greatest sculptures the city has to offer while taking in the sights and sounds of the city, the harbor, and the adjacent mountains. It is open every day of the year and is free. Oh, and if you get hungry, head over to The Pink Door for some of the city's greatest meatballs. Just be careful to reserve a table in advance because it might become busy!

Seattle Museum of Art

The Seattle Art Museum is the city's main center for all things artistic and is arguably the most well-known art museum in the Pacific Northwest. The primary art museum, the Asian Art Museum, and the Olympic Sculpture Park make up the museum's three main divisions. The collections now span a wide range, including works of modern art, Oceanic and Native American art, and even European artwork.

Urban waterfront

Going to the waterfront is one of the greatest things to do if you enjoy taking short strolls while seeing different cities. The waterfront in the downtown area is a great location for a stroll because it is lined with cute shops, delicious restaurants, and even a few sights. Once you arrive, you may visit the Aquarium, the Ferris wheel, the Seattle Great Wheel, or come at twilight to see the sunset. Even better, you may set off on a kayaking tour of the harborfront. However, if the winds kick up, be forewarned, it could be postponed.

International District of Chinatown

Chinatown in Seattle was established in the 1880s, making it almost as ancient as the city. Since it has been expanded to include the Vietnamese, Japanese, and Filipinos, the region is now simply known as the International District. If you're also feeling a little peckish, it truly is among the top things to do in Seattle. Here you may get the greatest dim sum in the city, as well as bubble tea stores and delicious eateries.

Park Discovery

If you ever feel the need for a respite from Seattle's bustle, go over to Discovery Park. This enormous 534-acre (216 hectares) park will make you feel like you've entirely left the city even though it's only a short distance from the downtown region. This location is ideal for breathing in some fresh sea air because of the lovely lighthouse, beach walks, and breathtaking views of the nearby waters. After a hard day of trudging through the streets of Seattle, it's one of the nicest things to do to relax in a truly beautiful location.

Where to stay in Seattle

The Seattle Marriott waterfront is a great choice if you want to take advantage of all this picturesque city has to offer, with an emphasis on harbor activities and cruise access, as there aren't many hotels in Seattle that are this near to the water. However, keep in mind that not all of the apartments have balconies, some don't have lake views, and the five-minute walk to Pike Place Market is all uphill.

Nites Inn Motel is a good option for budget-savvy guests who needs basic accommodation. Nites Inn Motel is a two-star hotel that is located in the heart of the city. The Nites Inn Motel offers free parking and Wi-Fi in all rooms.
